As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial Bank Technology Paymentteam, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. In this role you will drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications. Job Responsibilities: - Provides guidance to the team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities. - Sets overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. - Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements. - Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. - Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for team members, prioritizing diverse representation. - Works at the code level and manage technologists. - Utilizes automation and continuous delivery methods. - Applies advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. - Leverages in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience - Proficiently manage all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Experience with Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture. - Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, Oracle, etc.). - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Experience with caching solutions. - Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD). - Experience in UNIX and scripting languages (Shell, Perl). - Cloud Development Experience.
