We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Medical Billing Executive Receptionist to join our healthcare team This hybrid role involves managing the medical billing process While providing front-desk support in a medical office setting The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing operations and deliver a professional warm experience to patients visiting or calling the clinic Key Responsibilities Medical Billing Responsibilities Prepare review and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies for reimbursement Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Follow up on pending claims resolve denials and manage chargebacks or appeals Maintain accurate billing records in the medical billing system Communicate with insurance companies patients and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare industry regulations Generate regular billing performance and outstanding payment reports Collaborate with medical coders and clinical staff to ensure accurate coding and documentation Patient centric Responsibilities Greet patients in a warm professional manner during visits or calls Answer and manage incoming calls emails and appointments scheduling Register new patients collect and verify personal and insurance information Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments billing and services Maintain an organized reception area and manage patient records with discretion Assist in managing doctor s schedules appointments and follow-ups Handle administrative tasks such as data entry managing correspondence and updating patient databases Requirements Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing and medical reception Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures CPT ICD-10 codes and medical terminology Experience with medical billing software e g Kareo Athenahealth PracticeSuite Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards Compassionate patient-first attitude with professional demeanor Preferred Skills Certification in Medical Billing Optional Previous experience working in clinics hospitals or private practices USA Based Familiarity with electronic health record EHR systems Benefits Location Vadodara Onsite US Shift Timing
