Job Title: Finance Executive/ Accountant Experience: 2–5 years Location: Hyderabad About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant / Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable multitasking, working independently and handling end-to-end accounting processes with accuracy. Key Responsibilities 1. Day-to-Day Accounting - Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). - Prepare and record journal entries, maintain general ledgers and reconcile accounts. - Monitor cash flow, bank balances and ensure timely vendor payments. 2. Financial Reporting & Compliance - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other tax filings. - Coordinate with auditors for internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of financial books. 3. Payroll & Expense Management - Process monthly payroll and maintain employee reimbursement/expense records. - Verify and approve expense claims in alignment with company policies. 4. Startup-Focused Financial Operations - Support founders with financial projections, MIS reports and investor-ready data. - Help set up financial processes, controls and automation to scale operations. - Track burn rate, runway and provide insights into cost optimization. 5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management - Maintain vendor contracts, payment cycles and credit terms. - Coordinate with banks, financial institutions and internal teams for financial operations. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory). - 2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance. - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping and statutory compliance. - Proficiency with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar). - Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and financial analysis. - Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment. -
