You ll be working with the product and engineering team This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to build products that have never been built before Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e pack battery pack and e pump charging station which together unlock 15-minute rapid charging Our philosophy Break Believe Build There s no playbook for disruption The only way to create a radical future is to continuously break believe and build You have to BREAK stuff assumptions and the thumb rule You have to BELIEVE in the process in the team and through failures You have to BUILD fast passionately and build to simplify All projects at Exponent are delivered by Cross Functional Teams - they are internally referred to as squads Each squad is given a target in terms of project deliverables - including cost quality and timeline The squad is led by what we call - Module Lead The module lead s job is to manage risk and ensure successful launch of the product to relevant stakeholders Responsibilities Work with relevant functional leads to identify risks across domains - engineering process operations service etc Prioritize and manage mitigation as well as resolution of each of these risks Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the team Squad Take projects from proof of concept to production - until handover to sustenance Manage squad budgets ranging from R D Homologation Testing etc The ideal candidate Strong engineering fundamentals Without this - fundamental risk tradeoff calls cannot be managed Strong analytical mindset to be able to drive objective data driven decisions Should have gone through a product development cycle from the concept stage to stabilization of the production stage Would like to get hands on with work and problem solving Should be a people person Should have built hardware products that have gone into customer hands - Exposure to the EV ecosystem is an added bonus What matters High ownership of work Quality of work Approach towards problem-solving Dissatisfaction towards mediocre work Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing About Us Exponent simplifies energy for EVs Co-founded by Arun Vinayak Ather Energy s Founding Partner Former Chief Product Officer and Sanjay Byalal Former hardware strategic sourcing and cell strategy lead Ather and Former Supply Chain Lead HUL Exponent focuses on solving two sides of the energy problem by building the e pump charging station and e pack battery pack which together unlock 15-min rapid charging The 200 strong team of passionate builders have a ton of EV experience and are currently looking for more builders to join one of the best EV teams in India to build scale Exponent
