A US/Canadian Based IT MNC is hiring for Lead Crystal Reports Developer (v4.3). Work Location: Remote Shift Timings: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM We are seeking an experienced Senior Crystal Reports Developer with expertise in SAP Crystal Reports 4.3. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex reports that support business operations and decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with business users, data teams, and application developers to deliver accurate, user-friendly, and scalable reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy Crystal Reports (v4.3) for operational and analytical reporting. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions. - Create complex reports with advanced formulas, sub-reports, cross-tabs, and drill-down functionalities. - Integrate Crystal Reports with various databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, etc.). - Optimize queries and reports for performance and scalability. - Develop reusable report templates and maintain version control. - Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues in a timely manner. - Work with ETL/data teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports. - Document report logic, design standards, and end-user instructions. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Required Skills & Experience - 10+ years of experience in report development with at least 3+ years using Crystal Reports 4.3. - Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and database objects. - Hands-on experience with complex report design (multi-level grouping, formulas, parameters, and sub-reports). - Experience integrating reports into applications or enterprise reporting platforms. - Solid understanding of data modeling and relational database concepts. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. Nice to Have - Experience in banking, finance, or insurance domain reporting. - Knowledge of BusinessObjects BI suite and integration with Crystal Reports. - Familiarity with cloud-based reporting solutions and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
