Engineer - Forging Design Position Title Engineer Department Forging - Design Location GETPL - Karoli Plant No of Vacancies 1 Salary Range - 4 0 Lakhs - - 5 0 Lakhs per annum Educational Qualifications Diploma in Engineering Total Experience Minimum 5 years for Diploma Holders Relevant Experience Minimum 3- 5 years in a related field Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer to join the Forging Design department at our GETPL Karoli Plant The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CAM programming 2D drawing preparation and document control with the ability to manage and improve engineering processes This is a hands-on role requiring practical knowledge of NX software drafting and the forging industry Key Responsibilities 1 CAM Programming NX Software - Demonstrate strong proficiency in CAM Programming using NX Software to design and optimize forging processes 2 2D Drawing and Drafting - Develop and maintain 2D drawings using NX Software ensuring proper detailing dimensioning and drafting of forging parts and tools 3 Bill of Material BOM Documentation - Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials BOM data sheets and manage ECN ECNR Engineering Change Notice Request documents - Ensure proper documentation control systems are in place to maintain document integrity and traceability 4 System Documentation Control - Assist in the development and management of systems related to documentation ensuring that all files are up-to-date and accessible for team members 5 Office Software Proficiency - Utilize Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint for preparing reports presentations and data analysis as required for design and production activities Qualifications Skills - Educational Qualification - Diploma in Engineering Mechanical Production or related field - Experience - Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant experience in Forging Design with practical knowledge of CAM programming and NX software - Prior experience in 2D drawing preparation detailing and drafting of forging parts is essential - Technical Skills - Strong working knowledge of NX Software CAM programming 2D drawings - Proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting - Understanding of Bill of Material BOM preparation and ECN ECNR document handling - Communication Skills - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 400 000 00 - 500 000 00 per year Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
