Your Impact Looking for Java/J2EE front end professional, skilled in delivery, design, development and maintenance of technology based products and provide expertise in producing high quality, configurable and maintainable software. What The Role Offers - To analyze requirements for completeness, unexpected impacts, and potential user-impacting concerns. - To drive requirements through to an implementation, complete with accurate sizing estimates and task breakdowns - To work as part of an agile team throughout the software development life cycle - To work in collaboration with teams across geographies What You Need To Succeed - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MCA or a related discipline from reputed institute. - 6+ years of experience in Java and J2EE Development - Extensive technical experience and development expertise in JSP, React, Javascript, HTML5 - Experience in RESTful Web Services, Spring, Hibernate - Expert knowledge of AJAX & JSON technologies, and development of cross-browser compatibility - Knowledge of Solr, Lucene is desirable. - SQL and Oracle databases (PL/SQL skills essential) - Able to quantify performance and quality of UI being built by using empirical data points - Ability to use tools like Yslow, Fiddler and others to analyse and debug potential bottlenecks - Understand importance of customer data security and able to incorporate security aspects in implementation to protect customer data - Understanding of usability and interaction designing aspects - Knowledge of Ant, Maven build scripts One Last Thing At OpenText we understand and value diversity in our employees and we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
