
Urgent Search: Tech Lead

As an Azure Policy Development Tech Lead within our Infrastructure & Cloud team, you will play a critical role in managing and implementing policies related to infrastructure, security, and compliance. You will lead creation and maintenance of Azure policy frameworks and ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices. Your expertise will drive the adoption of compliant and secure cloud infrastructure solutions, empowering developers within LSEG to achieve friction-free cloud deployments. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence cloud policy development and governance, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing and leading a team of associates to ensure successful delivery of the project
- Act as tech advocate for the development team in delivering features
- Develop and Utilizing Infrastructure As Code (IAC) tools like Terraform to build and manage cloud resources
- Implement policies related to infrastructure, security, and compliance using Azure policy framework and OPA
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies
- Collaborate with product owners, and architecture to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences
Required Skills:
- Experience with GitLab repositories and configure CI/CD for Terraform deployments
- Experience with Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the major cloud services providers (Azure preferred)
- Proven experience in declarative policy language, context-aware and expressive, architectural flexibility, and coordinated development tools
- Experience with Azure policies and security guardrails.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
Qualification:
- Must have a degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience across cloud services SDLC tools, specifically CI/CD tools (open-source or commercial)
- 2+ years of leading enterprise/platform engineering teams
- 2+ years in DevOps automation across various technologies
- 2+ years of experience of using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Docker)
- 2+ years of open policy agent or any cloud policy framework
