Role Junior Network Cloud-Focused Engineer Band 29 Location India Responsibilities Support complex network technologies through defined day-to-day BAU activities Work to completion incidents problems and requests as required Seek out and actively review network configurations to ensure they remain optimized and functional Perform troubleshooting and diagnoses of system problems and failures Use available tools to quickly resolve issues and limit impact to active incidents in a sometimes-high-energy environment Ability to communicate effectively to large groups regarding actions taken and identified root cause s of event s Recommend and implement preventative maintenance technical changes and or upgrades of the network environment in accordance with corporate network standards and best practices for continuous improvement Assist with implementation work in Hybrid-cloud Network services that align with the organization s security and technology standards Study review and maintain documentation of detailed service design usage troubleshooting and support Perform assignments related to configuration integration and upgrading of existing and future technologies in Hybrid-cloud Network such as Cloud WAN solutions Traffic inspection Egress with Internet Gateways Ability to learn and assist with provisioning managing and troubleshooting the cloud environment s structure landing zone governance capabilities and core network services such as AWS Direct Connects AWS VPN AWS Transit Gateway AWS VPC AWS Gateway Load Balancer GWLB AWS Security Groups AWS Prefix Lists AWS Firewall Manager AWS IPAM AWS Route 53 AWS ELBs AWS Private Endpoints Azure ExpressRoute Azure VNETs Azure NSG Azure Private DNS etc Continually grow your knowledge of cloud providers service offerings in the network IAM and compute domains Learn document and retain knowledge of cloud provider offerings and the organization s cloud usage to help identify cost and performance optimization opportunities Learn basic automation skills to automate routine administrative tasks Collaborate with network peers cyber security and operations teams Help to determine recommendations on capabilities to support new business opportunities Learn and grow your knowledge in security and compliance standards related to cloud environments Collaborate on technical solutions when faced with a new complex systems design or process issue Provide assistance to perform root cause analysis of service-interrupting incidents develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence Actively learn how to prioritize critical competing tasks Drive continuous improvements of the networking service drive automation to manage the scale and continue to optimize the efforts through appropriate tooling and automation Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science MIS or related equivalent experience considered Proven understanding with practical support experience of fundamental networking technologies 3-5 years of industry experience with 1 years of experience in Cloud Networking and related service AWS Azure GCP Proven problem incident management and troubleshooting experience within a technology operations environment Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to collect and present meaningful system statistics and other metrics Understanding of Infrastructure cabling firewalls load balancer s switches routers and SDWAN technologies Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously with great attention to detail urgency focus and discipline Confident and comfortable taking the lead during troubleshooting or recovery scenarios Experience provisioning and maintaining network technology hardware and software Knowledge in Cloud-based Network Security technologies Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in the following areas o Hybrid-cloud Networking Cloud On-Pem xe2x96xaa Transit gateway xe2x96xaa Security Groups xe2x96xaa Load balancing technologies such as AWS-ALB AWS-ELB AWS-GLB AZ-Traffic Manager AZ-Application Gateways xe2x96xaa Cloud DNS technologies such as Route 53 Azure DNS Azure Private Resolver etc xe2x96xaa Automation Scripting experience in Cloud o Programming Language Python PowerShell etc o Firewall implementation in Cloud o CloudWAN o SDWAN o GitHub o BitBucket Network Security technologies experience in several of the following areas o F5 Experience in the following LTM GTM APM and ASM o Palo Alto Firewall experience o DNS DHCP IP Management -
