Role Description :As a Cloud Network Architect, you will be a key contributor to our cloud infrastructure initiatives. You will be responsible for defining network architecture strategies, designing and implementing network solutions, and ensuring the security and performance of our AWS network environments. Your expertise in AWS networking services and your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial for delivering successful projects. Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement complex cloud network architectures on AWS, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT gateways, Transit Gateways, and Direct Connect.
  • Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
  • Implement and manage multi-account and multi-region AWS network environments.
  • Design and deploy AWS Transit Gateway, VPNs, and Aurora Global Databases.
  • Implement robust security measures, including network access control lists (ACLs), security groups, and VPC peering, to protect sensitive data within the cloud.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure low latency and high throughput.
  • Optimize network configurations for performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Design and deploy load balancers (ELB, ALB, NLB) to distribute traffic efficiently across multiple instances for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Implement content delivery networks (CDNs) for improved performance and user experience.
  • Automate network provisioning and configuration using infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement network solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS networking services and best practices.
  • Research and evaluate new network technologies and tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement in network architecture and processes.

Qualifications :Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Network Architect, with a focus on AWS.
  • Extensive experience with AWS networking services, particularly in multi-account and multi-region environments.
  • Experience in optimizing and securing AWS network environments.
  • Deep understanding of AWS networking services : VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT gateways, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, etc.
  • Expertise in network protocols : IP addressing, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, firewalls.
  • Cloud security knowledge : Best practices for securing cloud networks, compliance requirements.
  • Expertise with AWS network components like AWS Transit Gateway, VPNs, and Aurora Global Databases.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
