Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly ethical, analytical, and possess strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage end-to-end accounting, audits, and reporting functions. Experience in the non-profit sector will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization.
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Income Tax, GST, etc.
- Handle internal and external audits, including coordination with auditors and ensuring timely closure.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and fund utilization across various projects.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial processes to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with donor agencies for financial reporting and utilization certificates.
- Liaise with government and regulatory bodies for necessary filings and submissions.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) cleared in 1st attempt only.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, audit.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Tax Laws, GST, and FCRA regulations.
- Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other financial tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the NGO/non-profit sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a mission-driven environment.
