About Waytoogreen Waytoogreen is a dynamic new startup launching a pioneering online Learning Management System (LMS) dedicated to environmental sustainability and microgreen education. Our mission is to empower individuals across India with the knowledge and skills needed to adopt sustainable practices, focusing on accessible green solutions and urban farming. As a new venture, we have set an ambitious goal for our foundational year: to reach and educate 50,000 students. We aim to foster a new generation of environmentally conscious citizens through high-quality, multilingual (English, Hindi, and Tamil), and regionally relevant content. With strategic operational hubs in Mumbai (Business & Front-end) and Chennai (Production & Back-end), we are building a scalable and impactful educational platform from the ground up. Location: Chennai Reports To: CEO Role Description The Tech Lead/LMS Manager is responsible for the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the Waytoogreen Learning Management System (LMS) and the associated technology stack. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the architecture, maintenance, and security of the LMS platform. - Manage the technology infrastructure, including hosting (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CDN services. - Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and platform uptime. - Troubleshoot high-level technical issues and manage software integrations (payment gateways, CRM). - Evaluate and integrate new educational technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing LMS platforms and leading technology projects. - Skills: Strong technical expertise in web technologies, database management, and cloud infrastructure. Proven experience with software integrations (APIs) and managing payment gateways/CRMs. - Attributes: Deep understanding of data security and privacy compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills.
