Position Overview The Procurement and Marketing Field Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of sourcing products, materials, or services while simultaneously promoting and marketing the company’s offerings to potential customers. This is a dual-function role involving both procurement responsibilities (vendor identification, supplier negotiations, order follow-ups) and field marketing activities (lead generation, brand promotion, client engagement). The position requires excellent negotiation skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, field-based environment.Key ResponsibilitiesA. Procurement Responsibilities Vendor Identification & Development Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for materials, goods, or services. Develop long-term relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply quality and availability. Price Negotiation & Contract Management Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Draft and finalize purchase agreements while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. Purchase Order & Follow-up Prepare and release purchase orders based on requirements. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Quality & Inventory Coordination Work with the quality control team to ensure goods meet required specifications. Coordinate with the warehouse/inventory team for stock availability and replenishment. B. Marketing & Field Responsibilities Market Research & Analysis Conduct on-ground market studies to understand demand trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences. Identify new market segments and potential customers. Client Acquisition & Engagement Meet potential customers to introduce company products/services. Explain benefits, pricing, and quality advantages. Maintain relationships to encourage repeat business. Brand Promotion & Visibility Distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and samples. Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and local marketing events. Sales Support & Lead Conversion Coordinate with the sales team to convert inquiries into confirmed orders. Follow up with customers on quotations, proposals, and delivery status.Skills and CompetenciesProcurement Skills Vendor management and sourcing expertise. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
