Inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee/Management Trainee, Accounts Payable & Payroll Responsibilities: - Invoice Processing - Review & process vendor invoice receipt, validation, coding, and posting in compliance with company policies and accounting standards - Payment Management - Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor and employee payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers - Employee T&E Expenses - Review and process employee travel and expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and proper documentation - Payroll Processing - Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, validation, and disbursements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution - Reconciliations & Reporting - Perform vendor, payroll, and GL reconciliations prepare related reports and resolve discrepancies promptly - Compliance & Controls - Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and audit requirements across AP activities - Stakeholder Coordination - Collaborate with finance, internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve queries, maintain records, and improve process efficiency - Continuous Improvement & Controls - Strengthen process controls, identify automation opportunities, and drive consistency and efficiency across AP activities Minimum Qualifications: - Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate - Relevant years of experience in managing AP, Employee T&E, payments & Payroll - Experience in working with Oracle and AP / Payroll tools would be added advantage Preferred Skill Set: - Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures - Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) - Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management - Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail - Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative - Strong time management skills - Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information Why join Genpact .
