Inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee/Management Trainee- Accounts Receivable & Intercompany Responsibilities: - Cash Application & Matching - Process and apply insurance cash receipts accurately against policies, claims, and broker statements - Collections Management - Drive timely collection of premiums and recoveries, coordinating with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams - Dispute Resolution - Investigate and resolve cash application discrepancies, unallocated cash, and aged items through proactive follow-up - Delinquency Tracking - Monitor and report overdue balances, initiating escalation or remediation actions to minimize aged receivables - Cash Clean-up & Reconciliation - Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts, ensuring ledger accuracy and clearing of unmatched items - Intercompany Accounting - Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting, settlements, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate balance clearance - Month-End Close Activities - Support AR close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of reporting schedules. - Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities to enhance accuracy and turnaround time. Minimum Qualifications: - Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate - Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance Credit Control activities - Experience in working with Oracle and AR tools would be added advantage - Experience in working with an insurance client is must Preferred Skill Set: - Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures - Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) - Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management - Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail - Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative - Strong time management skills - Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information Why join Genpact .
