Specification Management Senior Analyst

Job Description Responsibilities - Deliver training on specification systems, IT applications, and associated processes; achieve certification as a Spec Writer to the Global Ingredient Standard. - Identify and recommend process improvements and upskilling opportunities for continuous enhancement within the R&D GBS Leadership framework. - Mentor and guide junior Spec Writer Analysts, reviewing their work to ensure quality and accuracy. - Develop new or update existing ingredient and packaging specifications ensuring clarity, conciseness, and compliance from specification readiness through supplier commercial qualification approval. - Maintain deep understanding and uphold Ingredient, Supplier, Formula, and Packaging standards. - Foster and maintain strong relationships with in-market R&D teams, global spec teams, and external suppliers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supplier Quality Assurance to ensure comprehensive and accurate specifications. - Manage supplier relationships, serve as primary contact for information gathering, and ensure timely follow-ups to maintain process momentum. - Collect and align supplier questionnaires and specification details. - For Foods & Beverages specifications, initiate material testing and validate quality parameters. - Maintain and update legacy system specifications as necessary to ensure compliance. - Upload all supplier specification documentation and material qualifications into relevant systems such as Product Vision and SAP, manually if required, and track workflows. - For Packaging Specifications, schedule and conduct Individual Component Specification (ICS) reviews, update documentation, and manage supplier approval processes. - Ensure all requests meet defined SLAs with timely processing and documentation. - Assess and escalate critical business issues proactively to avoid supply disruptions or production delays
