About the Role: Position Title: Assistant Vice President - GHR Project/Program Manager Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Reporting to: Vice President Location: Bengaluru Job Profile: EDUCATION: - Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable. CERTIFICATIONS: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE: - Practical experience in Program Management - Must be hands on with project documentation on planning, test approach, RAID log and proactive in closing open items - Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals - Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems - Experience in the financial services industry preferred FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: - Ability to execute and troubleshoot problems - Ability to independently manage small to medium projects required - Ability to independently manage large projects preferred - Ability to manage project teams - Full understanding of business and technology - Ability to ensure reporting quality - Planning and process orientation - Project management methodologies - Project management tools (MS Project, Jira/Confluence) - Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) - SharePoint Project Site, VISIO - Contract Management - Project documentation including planning, testing, risks and issues management, decisions FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS: - Communicates effectively - Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision- - Exercises sound judgement, prioritizes effectively, and strives for continuous improvement - Effectively collaborates with colleagues - Leverages available technology to drive efficiency and results - Understands and applies industry trends and best practices - Exhibits optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas - Values learning as a lifelong professional objective - Engages inclusively and with intent - Always acts with integrity - Iterative problem-solving - Serving as a trusted advisor - Excellent organizational skills - Must be detail oriented RESPONSIBILITIES: You will: - Take lead responsibility on small to medium projects - Drive planning at the various organizational levels to ensure projects are on track/resourced - Establish project / program governance and communication with stakeholders - Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated - Proactively manage dependencies, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks - Contribute to executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc. - Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions - Manage project financial and resource forecasting - Identify and challenge project financials and - deliverables to ensure efficient and accurate execution - Ensure project transparency through reporting and updates - Facilitate the documentation of business requirement and testing - Manage project changes - Manage the establishment of vendor and 3rd party contracts
