Job Summary We at Research & Estimates aim at delivering the most trusted, timely and comprehensive Broker Research & Estimates content, covering real-time and embargoed research as well as Actual, Guidance, consensus and detailed earnings Estimates - to serve both the buy-side and sell-side customers. The Content Analyst role is a critical role within the group, responsible for collecting, reviewing & analyzing earnings estimates information received from contributors around the world on publicly traded companies. Responsibilities - Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge. - Communicate & liaise with internal departments for resolution of data queries. - Understanding of the consensus and comparable Actuals. - Understanding and interpretation of estimates available in the research reports. - Understanding and interpretation of Actuals from companies earning release. - Developing expertise in data related issues. Build up knowledge of financial regulations, Accounting Standards and market practices/conventions in relevant markets. - Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market. - Support specific projects, as assigned by manager. - Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures. - Basic knowledge about MS office. Qualifications COMPETENCIES - Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with a keen eye for detail. - Estimates content knowledge and process knowledge of Global markets. - Strong knowledge of the Financial Markets. - Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills. - Communicate by email in a coherent and professional manner. - Ability to work within a team and to build interpersonal relationships. - Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced MS Excel. - Should be Customer Oriented. - Good Analytical and data mining skills. Pc Skills - Working knowledge of Word and Excel. - Ability to use in-house database (training will be provided). - Ability to use the Internet in an effective and appropriate manner. EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Management or a related Analytical field. - Flexibility to work in shifts is a must.
