For nearly 70 years Charles River employees have worked together to assist in the discovery development and safe manufacture of new drug therapies When you join our family you will have a significant impact on the health and well-being of people across the globe Whether your background is in life sciences finance IT sales or another area your skills will play an important role in the work we perform In return well help you build a career that you can feel passionate about Job Summary Administer test trouble shoot and repair electronics to the component level Understand and read schematics Mechanically assembly and disassemble new and existing equipment Perform and operate on test equipment and solder equipment when needed Create develop and continuously improve SOPs pertaining to the PTS and MCS machines Able to analyze situations and apply own judgment when accessing mechanical problems independently Coordinate scheduling and support department personnel in the absence of the PTS Engineer Responsible for proficiency in all SOPs in areas of responsibility Responsible for documentation as required by company policy Support and serve as second back-up to Technical Services by loading software calibration of new equipment and ensuring proper packaging of new equipment Perform and assess data entry in software program in order to track machine repairs Interpret past repairs on PTS and MCS machines historically in order to resolve and diagnosis new machine issues Perform all other related duties as assigned Job Qualifications The following are minimum requirements related to the Field Service Engineer position Qualification Diploma Bachelors degree in ECE ICE ETC EEE Electronics or other related field Bachelors Masters degree or equivalent in computer science or an engineering discipline Experience 2 to 5 years Salary Range INR 5 ton 7 Lakhs per annum Must possess excellent communication skills Proficient in the use of standard office computer applications word processing spreadsheets presentations e-mail This position requires travel Candidates must have a fairly good technical background Must possess a positive attitude and a team player We
