Job Description Role: Solutions Architect(Optimizely) Location: Kochi/ Trivandrum(Hybrid & Remote) Budget: MAx 38lpa Experience: 12+ years We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a large-scale migration from SAP B2B to Optimizely Commerce Cloud. This role will serve as the technical leader, responsible for defining a scalable, secure, and future-ready architecture. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in enterprise commercesystems, cloud architecture, and system integrations. You will guide development teams, ensure best practices in solution design, and ultimately take full ownership of the architecture and development transition from the vendor. Responsibilities include: Architecture & Design Define the end-to-end migration architecture from SAP B2B to Optimizely, including CMS, Commerce, andPIM integration. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance frameworks aligned with business goals. Establish data migration strategies for products, pricing, and customer hierarchies. Ensure API integration between SAP, Optimizely, and other enterprise systems. Technical Leadership Lead and mentor development teams on best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with Optimizely consultants and internal teams to validate feasibility and technical approach. Drive DevOps strategy for CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment. Project Ownership Act as the technical owner of the migration project, taking over from vendor after initial phases. Ensure alignment with enterprise security and compliance standards. Provide technical guidance during feasibility analysis and pilot module migration. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions. Communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders and leadership in business-friendly terms. Support QA teams with test strategy for performance, integration, and security. Primary Skills : Technical Expertise SAP B2B Architecture: Deep understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud, Back Office, and integration patterns. B2B Platform: Hands-on experience with CMS and Commerce Cloud platforms, specifically Optimizely. Optimizely PIM & Spire: Strong knowledge of Optimizely Product Information Management (PIM) and Spire framework for modern commerce experiences. .NET Development: Proficient in .NET Core and ASP.NET, essential for Optimizely development. Cloud Architecture: Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS, commonly used for hosting Optimizely solutions. Azure Active Directory: Experience with identity and access management using Azure AD. API Design & Integration: Skilled in RESTful services, SAP APIs, and Optimizely endpoints. Frontend Development: Strong React expertise with CMS integration experience. Architectural Leadership Modern Architecture Concepts: Experience with monolithic and microservices-based systems. Solution Architecture Design: Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable frameworks. System Integration: Expertise in bridging SAP and Optimizely platforms, including middleware and data flow strategies. Performance & Scalability: Planning for optimized performance and future growth. Security & Compliance: Knowledge of enterprise-grade security, data protection, and regulatory standards. Project Ownership End-to-End Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects from blueprint to execution. Vendor Transition: Skilled in taking over architecture and development from external consultants. Stakeholder Communication: Capable of translating technical decisions into business value for diverse audiences. Secondary Skills : Technical Enhancements GraphQL & Headless CMS Architecture: Beneficial for building modern, flexible commerce experiences. DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated deployments. Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and efficient deployments. Soft Skills : Team Mentoring & Coaching: Experienced in guiding developers through complex migration phases and technical transitions. Agile Methodology: Skilled in managing sprints, backlogs, and iterative delivery cycles to ensure timely and quality outcomes. Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Strong capability in feasibility analysis, module mapping, and resolving architectural challenges.
