Some careers have more impact than others If you re looking for a career where you can make a real impression join HSBC and discover how valued you ll be HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 62 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - Business Consulting Principal responsibilities The jobholder will continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business taking account of changing economic or market conditions legal and regulatory requirements operating procedures and practices management restructurings and the impact of new technology Provide analytical support to Global Regional businesses covering Customer analytics Product analytics Portfolio analytics etc Participate in projects leading to solutions using various analytic techniques Understands business objective of the project and should work with manager senior- analyst to implement the solution Independently delivers end to end on simple projects Should assist in delivery of more complicated analyses strategy under supervision of the team lead within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards Produce high quality data and reports which support process improvements decision-making and achievement of performance targets across the respective Business Areas Complete analysis as required and document results and formally present findings to management Data Quality Analysis Segmentation Clustering techniques Trend Analysis and Dashboard Creation based on Visualization technique Develop Statistical models and data frameworks Responsible for developing and executing Business Intelligence analytical initiatives in line with the objectives laid-down by business using from different structured and unstructured data sources Understand business requirements enough to be able to produce automate analyses and interpret analysis reports and support the compliance and regulatory requirements Responsible for effectively deliver the projects within timeline and at desired quality level Should be able to resolve queries issues associated with a project Execute the assigned projects analysis as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies Data security policy AML operational risk Functional manual Group Compliance Manual Audit recommendations Internal Control requirements regulatory guidelines etc and business standards of Organization as applicable Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls Qualifications Basic data analytics experience or equivalent Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred Bachelor s or Master s degree from reputed university in Math s Stat Economics or other quantitative discipline Strong Experience with analytic systems with SQL Python Alteryx along with Microsoft suite skills are required Strong visualization skills are also a plus Qliksense preferred Familiarity with Big Query Hadoop and GCP knowledge are desirable Strong analytical skills and detail oriented Understand basic data quality management principles Good communication skills in both written and spoken Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas Ability to work in cross-functional teams Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success Independent worker with high drive and can support Global teams with demanding work hour Analytical thought process and aptitude for problem solving You ll achieve more at HSBC HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment We encourage applications from all suitably qualified persons irrespective of but not limited to their gender or genetic information sexual orientation ethnicity religion social status medical care leave requirements political affiliation people with disabilities color national origin veteran status etc We consider all applications based on merit and suitability to the role Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued By HSBC Electronic Data Processing India Private LTD
