Company Profile Lennox NYSE LII Driven by 130 years of legacy HVAC and refrigeration success Lennox provides our residential and commercial customers with industry-leading climate-control solutions At Lennox we win as a team aiming for excellence and delivering innovative sustainable products and services Our culture guides us and creates a workplace where all employees feel heard and welcomed Lennox is a global community that values each team member s contributions and offers a supportive environment for career development Come stay and grow with us This designer will have the opportunity to produce pattern designs using Computer Aided Design CAD tools Duties include but are not limited to Must be responsible for Designs of Refrigeration and Air conditioning products considering Cost Manufacturability Serviceability Regulatory Compliance CODE requirements safety Work closely with Cross functional teams Manufacturing Marketing Sourcing Testing Etc to move products from design to manufacturing Participate in DFMEA PPAP s DFMA RCFA as required Review of 2D 3D designs to ensure compliance to standards and best practices Lead and coordinate design reviews ensuring approvals from all relevant cross-functional teams Develop concept designs related to sheet metal and plastics using advanced design methodologies and techniques Perform advanced detailing redrawing lettering and tracing of drawings on components assemblies and engineering change orders Contributes design modifications to improve the quality and function of the product Ensures that drawings incorporate all design features and maintain the product style This role demands a high degree of flexibility and the ability to drive design activities with limited supervision Qualifications Requires a bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience Expert knowledge of SolarEdge Teamcenter software techniques and tools experience in sheet metal and tubing manufacturing tooling and fixtures Experience in PLM SAP Teamcenter Excellent oral and written communication skills Refrigeration knowledge is a plus
