About FergusonFerguson is the largest value-added distributor serving the specialized professional in the residential and non-residential North American construction market We help make our customers complex projects simple successful and sustainable by providing expertise and a wide range of products and services from plumbing HVAC appliances and lighting solutions to pipe valves and fittings water and wastewater solutions and more Headquartered in Newport News Virginia Ferguson has sales of 29 6 billion fiscal year 24 and approximately 35 000 associates in nearly 1 800 locations ANSR is the market leader in enabling organizations to build manage and scale global teams through Global Capability Centers GCCs ANSRs full-stack GCC platform comprising end-to-end Al- enabled products and services is trusted by the worlds best companies to help them set up manage and run their high-impact technology centers Since its inception ANSR has established over 125 GCCs aggregating to over 125k enterprise talent with over 2B in investment and using over 12M sq ft of workspace Visit ansr com for more information Duties and Responsibilities Recruit train and develop a high-performing Quality team in the region Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team members are equipped to meet quality objectives Implement systems processes and procedures to monitor and audit vendor compliance with quality and corporate social responsibility standards Ensure all products meet required specifications and certifications for the U S market Oversee pre-shipment inspection plans ensuring alignment with Ferguson Global goals and adherence to AQL sampling plans Manage customer quality complaint resolution by coordinating defect analysis root cause investigation and corrective action implementation Provide prompt responses to quality concerns and ensure sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence Manage inspection activities conducted by third-party or in-house quality control teams Oversee product compliance activities including third-party testing and verification Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives with vendors Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize quality processes Act as a key liaison between Quality Sourcing Vendors and global teams fostering seamless communication and issue resolution Partner with other departments to ensure quality goals align with overall business objectives Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support the organizations quality initiatives Qualifications Experience Bachelors degree or higher preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering 10 years of experience in quality assurance engineering or manufacturing with expertise in plumbing hardware or building material products At least 5 years of experience managing teams Strong communication and collaboration skills including experience working with sourcing QA QC vendors and global colleagues Proficiency in spoken and written English Practical experience with Microsoft 365 tools Willingness to travel as needed Proactive and accountable with a strong sense of responsibility Technically adept with the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems Exceptional organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong leadership and collaboration abilities with a focus on fostering teamwork Flexible and adaptable to evolving responsibilities
