Job Title Head of Department IB - Physics Grades 6-12 Location Sarjapur Bangalore Salary 1 00 000 - 1 20 000 per month Job Type Full-Time Reporting To Academic Coordinator Principal Experience Required Minimum 8-10 years in teaching 2-3 years in leadership preferred Qualification M Sc in Physics with B Ed or equivalent teaching qualification Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of the Physics Department who can lead the academic and administrative activities of the Physics faculty and teach students from Grade 6 to 12 The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills deep subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students and teachers alike Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership Design and implement curriculum plans for Physics across Grades 6 to 12 in alignment with IB IGCSE curriculum as applicable Lead the planning and execution of lessons assessments and lab work Ensure the integration of technology and modern teaching methodologies Monitor and support differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners Teaching Duties Teach Physics to middle and senior school students with a focus on conceptual clarity and application Prepare students for board examinations competitive exams JEE NEET and school-based assessments Provide academic guidance mentoring and remedial support where needed Departmental Management Supervise and mentor Physics faculty members Conduct regular departmental meetings and teacher training sessions Review lesson plans observe classes and provide constructive feedback Coordinate with school leadership on resource planning lab maintenance and budgeting Assessment and Reporting Oversee the creation and evaluation of question papers assignments and practical exams Track and analyze student performance data to drive improvement Communicate student progress with parents during PTMs and through reports Extracurricular and Enrichment Activities Organize Physics-related clubs science fairs Olympiad training and inter-school competitions Promote inquiry-based learning and STEM initiatives Required Skills Competencies Deep expertise in Physics and pedagogy Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to inspire and lead a team of educators Passion for innovation in education Proficiency in using smartboards online platforms and digital tools Preferred Qualifications Experience with IB IGCSE or IB curriculum Background in preparing students for JEE NEET or similar competitive exams Experience with academic administration or curriculum design INTERESTED CANDIDATES CAN SEND THEIR RESUME ON or whatsapp on 7379162629 Requirements ob Title Head of Department IB - Physics Grades 6-12 Location Sarjapur Bangalore Salary 1 00 000 - 1 20 000 per month Job Type Full-Time Reporting To Academic Coordinator Principal Experience Required Minimum 8-10 years in teaching 2-3 years in leadership preferred Qualification M Sc in Physics with B Ed or equivalent teaching qualification Benefits Benefits Child concession after 1 year with partial admission fee waiver Free transportation depending on availability of seat and route Subsidized meals Plan- Rs 50 per day including breakfast lunch Medical insurance- 2 lakhs of hospitalized Working hours 7 40 am to 2 30 pm Wednesdays till 4 00 pm Saturdays off except for online classes from Grade 8 onwards
