▷ (03/11/2025) Lead Finance Specialist - Statutory Accounting

Job Description - Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc.. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services. - Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies. - Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation. - Steer annual audits with Statutory and Internal Auditors. Support Company to be SOX compliant. - Oversee the Tax compliance in co-ordination with External Consultant, monthly filling of desired returns and assessment. - May require strong commercial awareness and is expected to influence the development of strategy within own area, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. - Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for bankers, investors and company's board of directors - Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of goals. Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. - Uses high level of judgment to make judgement and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a conclusion. - Also he/she will responsible for payable management between business and third party AP (accounts payable) team. Required Qualifications - This role requires significant experience in the Finance & Accounting Operations. - The applicant must be a qualified Chartered Accountant and having minimum 10 years of experience in audit, consolidation, and bookkeeping of a large company. - Work experience in SAP environment is must. Demonstrated ability to steer programs/ projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
