Role Descriptions This is a full-time on-site role based in tirupati for a Medical Superintendent at Amara Hospital. Roles & Responsibilities Medical Superintendent Implement and continuously monitor the hospital's clinical processes and policies as approved by the Medical Board. Serve as the primary liaison between the Medical Board / Hospital Management and the clinical team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Chair and lead key clinical committees as mandated by the organization. Ensure that all clinical operations adhere to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements applicable to the hospital. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all clinical departments and monitor performance; report significant variances or risks to the CEO and Medical Board. Support the recruitment and evaluation of clinical manpower to meet organizational needs. Oversee compliance with statutory and legal guidelines related to medical practice, patient safety, and healthcare delivery. Qualifications - Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational management skills - Knowledge of medical standards, healthcare regulations, and hospital administration processes - Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities - Experience in managing and supervising medical or healthcare staff - Understanding of patient care procedures and medical ethics - Proficiency in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams - A medical degree (MD or equivalent) with additional qualifications or certifications in healthcare management preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital administration or a similar role - Familiarity with local healthcare policies and compliance requirements
