About You - To resolve the day to day operational issues and to support the end users of REC, Vendor will deploy at least One (1) number of resident manpower at REC site to manage 24X7 helpdesk support including Saturday, Sunday and public holiday. The manpower shall include 1 person in General Shift (9:00 AM to 7:00 PM) from Monday to Friday. If required/necessary, L1 or L2 Engineer should be available on 24x7 basis including Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at no extra cost to REC. - Onsite L2 Engineer-Helpdesk shall be responsible for handling user logged complaints/incidents, respond to user and to resolve the issues. - The Resources should be Certified for M365 Advanced. The Resources should have prior experience of managing M365 deployment for a minimum of 5 years. The bidder should deploy bidder's on-roll full-time/regular manpower and provide the CV of such resource should be certified by Bidder's HR along with the bid. What You ll Do - Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in cloud technologies, IT support, or technical support roles. - Extensive experience with GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, VPC, and Kubernetes Engine. - Technical Skills: - Advanced understanding of GCP services and cloud architecture. - Expertise in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing cloud resources. - Familiarity with GCP CLI, Terraform, and Cloud SDK. - Communication: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with users, clients, and internal teams. - Ability to create clear documentation and reports. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Certifications: - Google Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Network Engineer (or similar certifications). - Travel within other sites of REC locations for providing support if problem is not resolved through remote services. - Bidder shall be responsible for timely and successful patching of all identified end user devices running Windows 11 Enterprise OS as per REC IT policy Key Responsibilities - Advanced Technical Support: Provide support for advanced troubleshooting of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL. - Incident Management & Resolution : Resolve incidents escalated from L1 engineers, managing complex issues and working directly with clients to provide timely and accurate resolutions. - Root Cause Analysis : Perform in-depth analysis of recurring issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. - Cloud Infrastructure Management: Help manage and optimize GCP cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for client environments. - System Optimization : Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize the health and performance of deployed GCP services. - Configuration and Deployment Assistance : Support advanced configuration, deployment, and integration of GCP services and resources in client environments. - Security Support: Ensure compliance with security best practices, assist in vulnerability assessments, and follow the GCP security posture. - Documentation & Training: Maintain thorough documentation of incidents, solutions, and best practices. Train junior engineers and clients on GCP features and tools.
