Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Description Alienhouse Networks is seeking a dynamic Social Media Marketing Intern to be the voice and visual curator of our brand, driving engagement and growth across all digital channels. This remote internship offers critical, hands-on experience in content strategy, community management, and performance analytics, with a clear and measurable path to compensation. Location: Remote Duration: 5 Months Compensation Structure: - Months 1 & 2: Unpaid internship focused on learning our brand voice, developing content templates, and achieving initial engagement targets. - Months 3, 4, & 5:Paid based on Performance. Interns who successfully meet pre-defined marketing KPIs (e.g., specific increases in engagement rate, followers, lead generation) will transition to receiving monetary compensation and lucrative incentives for the remainder of the internship. Key Responsibilities: - Content Strategy & Creation: Conceptualize, design, and write compelling, engaging content (posts, stories, short videos, infographics) specifically tailored for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. - Audience Engagement & Query Handling: Actively manage and monitor social media pages, responding promptly and professionally to all comments, DMs, and user queries. Triage service and hiring inquiries to the appropriate internal teams. - Community Building: Identify and engage with relevant online communities and forums to build positive brand awareness among both B2B companies (for services) and students/graduates (for hiring). - Campaign Execution: Assist in planning and executing campaigns aimed at driving both service leads and applications for our internship programs. - Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key social media metrics (reach, engagement rate, impressions, follower growth) and report findings to optimize content effectiveness. Requirements: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Proven familiarity with major social media platforms and a portfolio of personal or managed accounts is a strong plus. - Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor content for distinct B2B and B2C audiences. - Highly organized, creative, and capable of generating content and meeting deadlines independently.
