Sales is the mainstream of our operations and you would focus your efforts to maximise the same You will head the Merchandising Department comprising of a team of Merchandising Executives You would be responsible for the Design Bank maintenance and updation It would be your responsibility to develop an appropriate coding system for the different merchandise in the store Also a coding system for the Goldsmiths Manufacturers from whom the same is sourced All orders from and deliveries to PRASAD JEWELLERS stores would take place with your knowledge You would be required to regularise the order flow to the Goldsmiths Factories and formulate a system for effective follow up of the same The Prasad mark of Quality would also be your responsibility and you would benchmark the parameters for evaluation of the same and make sure the same are being looked into You would work in tandem with the Management the Merchandising Executives the Sales team the Marketing Team and also in the future the designers to create new designs as per the trends in the market and on analyzing their appropriateness for PRASAD You would benchmark the number of new designs to be created in each category on a periodic basis You would assist the Management in Concept Development as and when required and called for You would be responsible for Reconciliation of Suppliers Ledgers in tandem with the Account s Department of Prasad Jewellers Regular MIS reports on a monthly quarterly six monthly and yearly basis would also be part of your job profile In case of Customer Order or Repairs Processing you are expected to be responsible for proper communication with respect to the design development as well as delivery schedule Should be comfortable to travel to any of the retail branches in the city or even outside after mutual understanding Report of any events opportunities of importance with relevance to all areas of Retail Interest You would be required to co-ordinate the jewellery to be taken across for photo shoots and even be personally responsible for proper handling and delivery of the same You would be play an important role as a Core Team member in any strategic decisions with relevance to your area of expertise Should not at any time take with you any drawings designs models or record in any form out of the retail premises for usage other than those authorised by the company To maintain business secrecy and not disclose divulge publish during tenure of your employment or subsequently any confidential and secret information concerning the business or finance of the Company Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Rourkela Orissa Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package Preferred Language Odia Preferred Willingness to travel 50 Preferred Work Location In person
