Inviting applications for the role of Cost accountant - Management Trainee

You must have excellent SME knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

If you are an accounting graduate with prior cost accounting experience, we%27re looking forward for you to apply. In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly fast paced business environment while being a good phenomenal teammate and be open to working in any shift as per the business requirement

Responsibilities:

In this role, you shall be responsible for all the activities related to Cost accounting.

- Month end Standard JEs related to carrier bill accrual and reclass and track the Bills with SAP posting amount.

- Purchase Price Variance Journal entries

- Dashboard Reporting related to Manufacturing, Fleet & Transportation P&L.

- Inventory Reporting inventory losses, Count differences, Plant wise inventory Value and its ageing.

- Month End Material Usage Variance Reporting and run Monthly Reporting Packages and cross check the figures to validate them.

- Critical Reporting related to Utility expenses, Fleet expenses, PPV etc.

- Month end reconciliations for Inventory, Expense and Liability accounts.

- Work with VBA team for automation or creating query.

- Updating all standard rates at year end or otherwise required.

- Fill data in Budget Templates for Budgets.

- Process Order settlement.

- Material Master data Creation and upload the template.

- BOM Change upload.

- Provide update on payment status of bills as required.

- Reporting of components not costed in BOM.

- Reaching out to internal & external stake holders for any help/ assistance

- Preparing weekly, Bi-weekly & Monthly notes/commentary.

- Provide financial support to the business in the short term and long-term strategy

- Supervise budget targets and initiate course corrections for plan vs. actuals.

- Present client-wise monthly financials and highlight key financial levers.

- Analyze and report on variance trends across business units.

- Assist operating leaders in understanding financial metrics to improve profitability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with business goals.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

- CA/CMA/MBA Intermediate or Final with bachelor%27s degree in commerce.

- Relevant Year Experience in field of Supply Chain/Manufacturing Accounting.

Preferred qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills

- Specific skills -SAP, ERP & High Radius exposure

- Proficient in MS applications Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Knowledge of Blackline and MS Access would be an added advantage.
