knowledge of Microsoft office PowerPoint Visio Word Excel Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall Experience working in an SDLC Agile and scrum environment Flexible to work in different geography timezones Hands on experience in managing tools such as Microsoft Project Smartsheets JIRA Basecamp Trello HPSM Fogbugz and so on Knowledge of healthcare systems processes and regulations such as HIPAA is desirable Certification in project management e g PMP PRINCE2 in healthcare IT e g Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems CHPS is a plus Soft Skills Excellent communication oral and verbal leadership and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work with various stakeholders across alignment with strategic goals and objectives Manage IT projects within the healthcare domain ensuring timely delivery quality and adherence to budget constraints Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers system analysts healthcare professionals and stakeholders to define project scope goals and deliverables Develop comprehensive project plans schedules and budgets and track progress against milestones Manage changes to project scope schedule and costs using appropriate change control processes Identify and mitigate project risks issues and dependencies proactively to ensure successful project delivery Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal teams external vendors and clients to ensure alignment and effective project execution provide updates to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to healthcare IT projects Foster a collaborative and positive team environment motivating team members to achieve project objectives Monitor project performance metrics analyze trends evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement and knowledge sharing Establish and maintain project management standards processes and methodologies tailored to the needs of the product Develop and maintain project governance frameworks including project charters risk management plans and communication plans Facilitate project portfolio management processes including project prioritization resource allocation and budget management Coordinate project reviews and audits to assess compliance with organizational standards regulatory requirements and industry best practices Serve as a liaison between project teams stakeholders and senior management providing regular updates status reports and recommendations Provide training and mentorship to project managers and team members on project management principles tools and techniques Responsibilities Project Planning Develop comprehensive project plans defining scope objectives deliverables and timelines while considering regulatory compliance and healthcare industry standards Stakeholder Management Engage with stakeholders including healthcare professionals IT teams vendors and clients to gather requirements communicate project updates and address concerns Resource Allocation Allocate resources effectively including personnel budget and technology to ensure project success within defined constraints Risk Management Identify assess and mitigate project risks including those related to data security regulatory compliance and technology integration to minimize impact on project outcomes Quality Assurance Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that IT solutions meet healthcare industry standards for reliability security and usability Change Management Manage changes to project scope schedule and requirements using established change control processes while minimizing disruption to project progress Communication Facilitate communication within the project team and with stakeholders providing regular updates status reports and addressing issues promptly to maintain alignment and transparency Budget Management Monitor project expenditures track budget utilization and manage financial resources effectively to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints Integration and Deployment Coordinate the integration and deployment of IT solutions within healthcare systems ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to operations Documentation and Reporting Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans risk registers meeting minutes and status reports to support project tracking compliance and knowledge transfer Training and Support Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders to facilitate adoption of new IT solutions and ensure optimal utilization and benefits realization Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement lessons learned and best practices and apply them to enhance project management effectiveness and efficiency over time
