Job Description

Role Overview:

The Procurement / Sourcing Head is responsible for sourcing and procuring critical components, such as electrical and control parts for EandC, Solar, and R&D projects. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering teams, managing vendor relationships, ensuring alternate sourcing strategies, and mitigating supply risks to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement of EandC/Solar/R&D Components:
- Source and procure electrical and control components to meet organizational needs.
- Develop and implement alternate sourcing strategies to mitigate supply risks and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordination with Engineering Teams:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align procurement efforts with technical specifications.
- Address any deviations in requirements and resolve technical issues with suppliers to ensure seamless integration.
- Vendor Management & Negotiation:
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers for EandC components.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements.
