Role: Pharmaceutical Compliance Consultant

Location: Hyderabad, TS

About the Role:

- We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead and execute compliance-focused mystery shopping programs within the pharmaceutical and healthcare space. This role involves evaluating online pharmacies and healthcare platforms to ensure they follow regulations related to prescription drugs, patient privacy, fraud prevention, and payment card compliance.
- The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance, healthcare risk, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct mystery shopping programs targeting online pharmacies and healthcare services.
- Assess compliance with prescription vs. over-the-counter (OTC) drug regulations, including handling of controlled substances.
- Ensure adherence to privacy laws such as HIPAA and GDPR, and global pharmaceutical standards.
- Collect and document evidence such as screenshots, transaction records, and prescription verification processes.
- Create clear and actionable compliance reports for internal teams and regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk departments to address and resolve issues.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and accuracy in their work.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare, Law, Compliance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance, healthcare risk management, or fraud detection.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR), FDA guidelines, and international drug compliance standards.
- Understanding of payment card compliance programs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Delivery of high-quality, reproducible compliance reports.
- Effective mentorship and development of junior team members.
- Positive impact on compliance outcomes related to pharmaceutical and payment card standards.
