Skillset: Informatica IICS Developer Experience Range : 4 to 8 Location:(Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad) Job Description BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ETL DEVELOPER IICS (Informatica Cloud) The IICS (Informatica Cloud) Developer is a key, hands on role that will develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, transformation, and management of information from one or more sources. This role will be integral in re-platforming the ETL to Informatica Cloud IICS. The ideal Developer for this role can handle end-to-end Data Warehouse and Data Integration by taking into consideration the business cases, objectives, and requirements. The technical domain of the position includes the Data Integration, App & API Integration, Data Replication and Mass Ingestions services of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. In addition, the responsibilities will include data integration, data architecture, information delivery, infrastructure, testing, performance tuning for all components of the project. The candidate should have the following key responsibilities: - Understand pain points from a customer/vertical perspective for developing specific solutions. Identify the customer segment to position the new offering and develop business case for the new service offering - Analyzing data integration requirements, analyzing data sources and targets, business rules, and transformation logic - Analyzes the impact of changes on existing ETL/ELT processes and systems. Assesses the compatibility with goals in all areas. Analyzes cost effectiveness and feasibility - Create functional design for overall business intelligence solutions - Design, develop and maintain Informatica cloud data integration processes using the appropriate data load technique, including Push-Down Optimization for performance optimization - Design data integration and conversion strategy, exception handing mechanism, data retention and archival strategy - Designing and developing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes and workflows to load data - Debug and tune data integration processes; analyze data warehouse architecture, normalized/de-normalized, star schemas and snowflakes, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional surrogate key handling, exception data processing, troubleshoot and recommend improvements and alternate methodologies - Create artifacts from perspective of technology, product, domain and infrastructure as applicable - Data Quality management - Guiding other team members and external vendors to perform the same - Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, energetic team environment Desired skills for informatica architect include: - Experience using cloud along with Informatica power center and data warehouse expertise - Background in developing workflows, triggers along with integration and conversion experience using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud - Hands on experience in working with different databases e.G., SQL server, Oracle etc. - Hands on experience in Unix shell scripting to track /automate the jobs using scripts and should be able to write/debug Shell Scripts - Demonstrated experience with data integration architectures, data analysis and implementation - Demonstrated experience with Enterprise level Data Warehousing - Demonstrated experience with SQL and PL/SQL - Demonstrated experience and ability to deliver results quickly in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects - Ability to work with other IT groups and business users - Experience with BFSI projects a strong plus Preferred: - Informatica Cloud Certification Qualifications: The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or in a related field. He should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in modeling and business system designs with a minimum of overall 8 years IT experience. His software skills should be excellent. He should have good observation skills and must be able to manage multiple deliveries at the same time. Having good communication skills would be considered an asset. At last, but not the least, he must have good organizing skills and should be able to work effectively in a team.
