Key Responsibilities Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficiency cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction Manage end-to-end transportation warehousing and distribution processes Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and accuracy Coordinate with vendors transporters and other service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods Monitor logistics KPIs and generate reports for management review Ensure compliance with company policies health safety standards and government regulations Optimize logistics costs through route planning freight negotiations and improved processes Lead and manage the logistics team providing training and performance feedback Collaborate with procurement production and sales teams for smooth supply chain operations Implement technology and automation to improve efficiency in logistics processes Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of logistics supply chain management and distribution practices Excellent planning organizational and problem-solving skills Proficiency in ERP systems WMS and MS Office tools Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional coordination Analytical mindset with attention to detail Qualifications Experience Bachelor s Master s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field 7-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management with at least 3 years in a managerial role Experience in industry-specific logistics - e g construction manufacturing retail FMCG etc if relevant Knowledge of legal regulations customs clearance and transportation laws Key Performance Indicators KPIs On-time delivery performance Logistics cost efficiency cost per shipment unit Inventory accuracy and stock levels Warehouse utilization and efficiency Customer satisfaction related to logistics services
