will work as a Solutions Architect as part of our Solution and Architectural Design Function You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust scalable and maintainable data analytics solutions for our organisation These solutions will provide brilliant customer experience and deliver against business needs whilst driving a target architecture that simplifies our legacy estate What youll be doingWork with a wide range of business stakeholders and cross functional teams to define robust scalable and maintainable end to end solutions that consider systems people process data and technologies within a domain or across multiple domainsDefine solutions that are deliverable are customer experience led that meet the business needs are secure drive target architecture are compliant with relevant industry and company policies and factor in all impacted technical and business areasCreate and own technical solutions for a domain cross domain or portfolio of work within a specific technology area and deliver work autonomouslyPartner with engineering teams tribes and squads to communicate and evolve solutions as the teams build and learn taking overall accountability for integrity of resultant solutionsLead on design assurance before integrating into end to end solutionsLiaise with product owners managers CFU and customer stakeholders ensuring business needs are met through assurance of the designProactively identify initiatives to drive simplification target architecture improved customer experience improved business agility and lower cost to serve Actively contributes to architecture roadmaps and long term planningIdentify opportunities to improve standards of practice continuously enhancing ways of workingActively contribute to the definition of the overall solution framework for the respective domain aligned to the business strategy in this space in collaboration with business stakeholdersSupport guide and mentor others in the domain to develop and deliver no-defect solutions within architectural guardrails focussed on convergence with the IT strategic architectureInterface and manage all senior stakeholders business enterprise architects in the respective domain independentlyApply specialist technical expertise to develop and advise approach on a range of complex high impact and high risk customer solutions and define the architectural strategy for the respective domainDefine and maintain the architectural roadmap for the respective domainWork with product owners managers and colleagues across BT to ensure product deliveries are successful Skills Required for the Job Certification in Data Vault 2 0 or related technologiesExperience with tools such as Apache Kafka Apache Flink or similar data streaming platformsFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform services or AWS Platform Services with respect to Data and AI MLProficiency and experience with Erwin Data ModellerExperience or exposure to data catalogues such as Collibra
