Role Overview

We're looking for a part-time fashion designer to bring SABI's next collection to life. This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented designer who's excited to work hands-on—from sketching garments to overseeing samples and sourcing materials.

Fresh graduates are welcome—we value passion, taste, and originality.

Key Responsibilities

- Design original garments in line with the SABI aesthetic
- Collaborate with our tailor and patternmaker to bring concepts to life
- Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials from Mumbai markets
- Help oversee fittings and ensure quality craftsmanship
- Contribute to moodboards, drops, and storytelling around each piece
- Work closely with the founder and production team

Requirements

- A background in Fashion Design (degree/diploma preferred)
- Strong design sensibility and understanding of silhouettes and fabric behavior
- Comfort working with Indian textiles and embroidery (a plus, not a must)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
- Excellent communication and collaborative mindset
- Based in Mumbai
