Automation Testing Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience, strong expertise in Playwright and Selenium, and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in building automation frameworks and test strategies, and who is comfortable working in a hybrid model from Hyderabad. The candidate should be able to handle both automation (70%) and manual testing (30%) effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
- Build scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Execute functional, regression, and system tests across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, and QA leads in Agile teams to ensure test coverage and product quality.
- Perform manual testing as required, particularly in exploratory and edge case scenarios (approx. 30%).
- Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to test automation strategy.
Required Skills:
- 2–4 years of experience with Playwright.
- 4+ years of experience with Selenium.
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Proficient in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Solid understanding of defect management and test documentation.
