The Opportunity:

As a Software Engineer at DocPulse, you'll play a crucial role in building and evolving our next-generation healthcare platform. You'll work on challenging and complex projects, contributing to both our existing systems and our exciting transition to a cloud-agnostic microservices architecture. What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our existing applications built on Java.
- Actively participate in the design and development of new microservices using Spring Boot, MongoDB Atlas, React/Next.js, and Kubernetes as we transition to a cloud-agnostic architecture.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We're Looking For:

- 1+ years of experience solid hands-on experience in software development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency in Java is essential.
- Experience with building backend services and APIs.
- Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., Angular or React/Next.js).
- Understanding of database concepts (relational and/or NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Full-stack understanding with the ability to work across different layers of an application.
- Well-versed with engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for building high-quality software and a desire to make a significant impact in the healthcare domain.

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas.
- Exposure to Kubernetes.
- Prior experience in a healthtech or highly regulated environment.
- Experience with Python.
