We have a wide variety of career opportunities around the world come find yours Technical Operations MaintenanceTechnical Operations includes the maintenance and overhaul of our aircraft This includes aircraft maintenance technicians engineers planners ground equipment and facilities teams supply chain teams and more Job overview and responsibilitiesAvionics engineering is responsible for maintaining aircraft avionics systems reliability and enhance functionality as well as providing support to our internal customers safely and efficiently Responsible subject matter includes communications navigation autopilot indication and recording systems including the review of Flight Data Recorder data for reasonableness of required parameters As an engineer you will provide engineering support for Uniteds worldwide fleet studies analyzes and seeks solutions to problems related to the design operation maintenance performance modification or repair of aircraft and their components You will need to use a structured logical and analytical approach in problem solving Defines maintenance program configuration and serviceability criteria ensuring safe and legal operations Analyzes and implements regulatory requirements Evaluates the effects of modifications or new equipment on reliability and performance as well as determine benefits of the cost impact of a fleet decision to ensure an optimum balance of cost asset utilization quality and reliability Authors designs tests and manages projects Provides on-site technical support for line and base operations Communicates with customers on technical issues work scope recommendations and failure investigations Interfaces with internal and external organizations regarding specific aircraft and component issues Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong project management skills and being a team player with a positive approach to working together Requirements xc2 xb7 B S Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Aerospace engineering xc2 xb7 At least 5 years of engineering experience xc2 xb7 Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of aircraft systemso These skills include but are not limited to analysis of complex technical issues highly detailed level project development management for regulatory compliance modifications and overall ownership of specific systems xc2 xb7 Successful candidate will also understand detailed cost benefit analysis of projects as well as effectively engaging stakeholders cross-functionallyThis position is offered on local terms and conditions Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas even on a time-limited visa status will not be awarded This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines IncQualificationsPreferred xc2 xb7 Boeing Airbus Structures I Airframe Powerplant License or EE licence xc2 xb7 Maintenance check engineering experience on Boeing Airbus aircraft xc2 xb7 Knowledge of FARS especially 145 25 and 121 xc2 xb7 Strong skills in MS office applications Excel word powerpoint etc
