We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management

In this role you will

- Contribute to the shaping of the Risk & Control book of work, across Operational, Vendor and Key Delivery Risks, with a focus of open and upcoming GRAS items and with a focus on GCIO metrics and strategy

- Ability to recognize and highlight risks across the Technology Value Stream portfolio

- Ensure that senior management is kept up to date with all progress, challenges, issues and ongoing work in the Risk and Control space

- Provide support and guidance to IWPB Technology Value Stream Leadership and provide a channel for sharing information and prioritisation of work

- Build and maintain relationships within IWPB Technology, CCO, Cyber, CTO etc to cultivate program support and awareness

- Build and maintain relationships with senior management to ensure they are fully briefely

- Establish the Technology Risk Control Book for one or more Technology Value Streams and manage it's coordination, delivery and reporting

- Build appropriate MI and communications channels to support the delivery of this book of work

- Challenge, where necessary, work requirements where they are either unfit for purpose or are not being approached in a manner that is beneficial to the business

- Ability to communicate and input into various Risk forums and ability to co-ordinate and input into Helios items

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, especially with senior stakeholders in Business & IT, and ability to build strong relationships
- Be open to new Ways of Working
- Have experience of managing multi-disciplined, multi-location teams to timelines
- Be able to work in an unstructured and changing environment and be able to manage changing priorities and to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise
- Be self-sufficient, demonstrate initiative, and be open to learn new practices, techniques and tools
- Have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others positively
- Be a strong team player engaging and encouraging others with forward thinking approach
- Be open to different cultures, opinions and working practices
- Exhibit a high level of commitment and self-motivation, together with an ability to deal with stressful environments
- Be passionate about delivering value to customer
- Have good knowledge of fire drill management
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be open and able to mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Be familiar with IWPB technologies and Vendor managements and risks
