Solutions Architect

Job Overview We are seeking an accomplished Security Architect with 15+ years of experience, who brings a strong foundational background as either a Cloud Architect or an Application Architect, and has further developed deep expertise in cybersecurity. The role is solutioning architecture— focusing on security architecture creation for customer requirements, RFP responses, and proposal defense. The candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, differentiated, and compliant architecture solutions, tech stack selection, ensuring security is embedded into every proposal while aligning with business outcomes. This is a solutioning role, not a delivery execution role. The primary responsibilities are to: - Create solution architectures aligned to client requirements. - Decide the right technology stack and reference patterns. - Develop solution sizing and costing models. - Author compelling solution write-ups and technical documents for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs response - Engage with clients in presentations, workshops, and proposal defense sessions. Key Responsibilities 1. Cloud & Application Security Expertise - For Cloud Architecture background: - Design secure multi-cloud and hybrid solutions, including containerized platforms, APIs, and cloud-native controls (CASB, CWPP, CSPM). - For Application Architecture background: - Define secure application and API architectures, microservices, middleware, and integration strategies. - Recommend DevSecOps adoption approaches (at conceptual/solution level). 2. RFP Response & Client Engagement - Lead and contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, ensuring security aspects are well-articulated. - Prepare technical solution documents, proposals, and presentations. - Participate in client workshops, orals, and proposal defense sessions, articulating both architecture and security perspectives. 3. Security Architecture & Solutioning - Create customer-focused security architectures across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premises, and hybrid environments. - Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and security reference models tailored to client needs. - Align solutions with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). - Integrate security-by-design principles into cloud and application architectures. 4. Thought Leadership & Advisory - Provide advisory inputs to clients on emerging threats, best practices, and security strategy. - Support practice development by creating reusable security patterns, templates, and accelerators. - Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and security innovations to bring insights into proposals. Qualifications & Skills - Education: - B.Tech (mandatory) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - Certifications (mandatory – at least one): - Cloud Architect Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect. - Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications. - Foundational Expertise (must have one of the two): - Cloud Architect: Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services, multi-cloud/hybrid cloud design. - Application Architect: Strong expertise in enterprise application design, APIs, middleware, microservices, and Kubernetes/Docker. - Security Overlay Expertise: - Proficiency in application security, cloud security, IAM, zero-trust, API security, and threat modeling. - Familiarity with cryptography, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection. - Client-Facing & RFP Experience: - Proven experience in RFP/RFI response creation, solutioning, and proposal defense. - Strong ability to collaborate with sales teams for client requirements - Excellent presentation skills with ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients. - Core Skills: - Strong architecture design, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement. - Ability to bridge technical depth with business acumen. - Leadership qualities with ability to influence decision-makers.
