Company Description Do you want to go to work and help create a better life at home With us you can feel at home in your work while sharing that feeling with millions of people around the world We encourage you to stand up for yourself and others creating an environment where everyone feels welcome We invite you to open new doors embrace mistakes and grow from them As our People Culture Generalist you ll have many opportunities to try things you ve never done before The People Culture Generalist role will be part of IKEA Supply Area South Asia SASA organization and shall be based at our IKEA Bengaluru office India IKEA Services India is one of the Supply Areas for IKEA which represent South Asia Region comprising of India Sri Lanka Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates Supply Area South Asia-SASA SASA has a rich history of sourcing from the South Asia region for more than four decades Over these years we have brought in many processes and best practices that have improved the way we work with our business partners Transformation of textile carpet industry and recycle plastic industry are a few such examples This partnership with suppliers has helped to continuously grow our sourcing operations As a People Culture Generalist your role will be to establish IKEA as the preferred employer by attracting those who share the IKEA values ensuring development for all co-workers inspiring them to perform and grow with IKEA by Working in partnership with the business staff functions Ensuring the appropriate HR processes and tools are implemented Actively contributing to the growth of business through people In this role as a P C Generalist you will mainly contribute to Mobility and Business Partnering in addition to other people topics As P C Generalist your main tasks are Support in attracting recruiting and maintaining talents based on business needs and facilitating competence flow inside and cross business units Contribute to build business competence and leadership development by supporting managers and co-workers according to agreed development plans Provide support to co-workers and managers that helps building competence and facilitate career paths and succession planning Manage all aspects of relocation and immigration including visas assignments and family support to ensure smooth global transitions To be the local HR speaking partner for one or more business units and work in partnership with relevant global HR partners supporting implementation of competence part of the relevant global plans Contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the HR action plan Contribute to the positioning of IKEA as an attractive place to work and the preferred employer in the relevant market Responsible for execution of administration connected to People HR digital tools Act as a cultural role model in ways that demonstrate the IKEA values Qualifications What we d like you to bring to the table You are passionate about people and unlocking their potential to contribute to business results You are dedicated to contributing to a great co-worker experience You enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment and appreciate the mix of tactical and operational tasks You demonstrate general leadership ability and effectiveness with the capacity to handle multiple priorities initiatives interfaces and tasks You express ideas and opinions effectively -
