Job Purpose:

To continue and nurture the learning environment with training and development programs across Embassy Group. And to enable the businesses and Human Resources by partnering with them to develop and execute engagement activities basis three pillars of psychological meaningfulness, psychological safety, and psychological availability with predictable organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning and Development:

1. Liaison with the departmental heads and HR Partner to identify the development needs
2. Finalize a Training Calendar and roll it out across Embassy Group
3. Provide inputs and create learning and development budget
4. Selection of trainers to suit the training requirement and design the required training program by setting expected outcome
5. Execution of training and analysing participants feedback on trainings
6. MIS on training planned & conducted, cost Vs budget and its effectiveness

Engagement

1. Arrive at a framework for the engagement pillars
2. Develop guidelines for committees and engage with committees
3. Design, develop and execute employee engagement survey
4. Baseline the current level of employee engagement and develop targets for future improvement
5. Create an employee engagement calendar along with HR Business Partner and support the implementation of this calendar by the HR Business Partner Team
6. Coordinate with Marketing and Communication for branding of events
7. Coordination with vendors/internal employees for execution of events

Key Interfaces

- Internal / Group--HR Business Partners, Marketing Communication, Finance, Internal Committee members
- External --Vendors / partners for learning and engagement

Qualifications and Work Experience:

- Master's in business administration
- 7 years of experience (relevant to the field/nature of role)

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge:

- Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for training budget preparation, design, execution of programs, delivering programs for small groups, the measurement of training effects, and vendor negotiations.
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer (internal stakeholders for Learning and Engagement). This includes relationship building and management.

Skills:

- Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
- Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
- Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
