EHS Professional At Dormer Pramet our purpose is to build on the company s heritage and success to innovate our way into the future By keeping a long-term focus in everything we do we can support our ambitions to grow manufacturing and prosperity for all This brings jobs with opportunities for both growth and security It is what we care for and what makes us go that extra mile We share our deep knowledge and experience to build great relationships not just with industry partners but with employees and the community We focus on improving the environment we work in and believe that everyone should feel empowered to deliver success In return we promise a rewarding career with flexible working options excellent training and opportunities for progression Does this seem like something you want to be part of We are now looking for EHS Professional Main Responsibilities Key Responsibilities 1 Compliance GovernanceEnsure compliance with all applicable Gujarat State Pollution Control Board GPCB CPCB Factories Act Environment Protection Act Hazardous Waste Rules and Occupational Safety laws Maintain statutory records consent to operate water air consents hazardous waste returns safety audits Prepare for and manage inspections from regulatory authorities 2 Safety ManagementLead implementation of ISO 14001 ISO 45001 IMS and company-specific EHS policies Conduct regular risk assessments HAZOP and job safety analysis JSA Drive incident investigation root cause analysis RCA and closure of corrective preventive actions CAPA Ensure 100 usage and availability of PPEs 3 Health WellbeingOversee occupational health programs including health check-ups ergonomics and wellness initiatives Coordinate with the factory medical team to handle occupational health risks and emergency preparedness 4 Environment SustainabilityManage effluent treatment plant ETP sewage treatment plant STP air emission controls and hazardous waste disposal Implement waste minimization recycling energy efficiency and water conservation projects aligned with corporate sustainability targets Support ESG BRSR reporting requirements for the factory 5 Training Culture BuildingDesign and execute EHS training calendar for employees contract workers and visitors Conduct safety induction mock drills fire safety and emergency response exercises Promote a behaviour-based safety BBS culture and encourage reporting of near misses 6 Leadership Continuous ImprovementLead the EHS team and coordinate with cross-functional departments to integrate safety into operations Drive safety kaizens 5S Gemba walks and Zero Harm initiatives Benchmark with best practices in Gujarat industrial hubs Ankleshwar Dahej Sanand Hazira etc Experience and required competencies 7-12 years in EHS management preferably in chemical engineering metal or manufacturing industries in Gujarat Certifications ISO 14001 45001 Lead Auditor NEBOSH OSHA preferred Strong knowledge of Indian EHS legislation and global standards Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills Data-driven decision-making with experience in EHS dashboards KPIs and audits Crisis management and emergency handling capability Proficiency in MS Office SAP EHS Gensuite Enablon if applicable Education Education B Tech M Tech in Environment Mechanical Chemical Engineering OR Post Graduate in Environment Safety Management Diploma in Industrial Safety DIS from a recognized institute mandatory About us Dormer Pramet is a global manufacturer and supplier of tools for the metal cutting industry and we have a truly international presence with four production units and sales offices in 20 countries Our skills and products solve engineering challenges across many industry sectors - including maintenance repair and overhaul as well as general machining through to heavy machining railway and airframe assembly How to apply You may upload your updated profile in Workday system through your ESS login no later than 15th Oct 2025 OR Please send your application by registering on our site www sandvik com career and uploading your CV against JO Requisition no R0083976
