Overview: - Project Management - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Agile/Scrum - Risk Management - Budget Management - Stakeholder Management - Technical Leadership - Communication Responsibilities: - Project Planning and Execution: - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. - Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. - Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) as appropriate. - Technical Leadership: - Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams. - Understand and contribute to the technical architecture on GCP. - Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment. - Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines . - Stakeholder Management: - Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly. - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations. - Risk Management: - Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Proactively manage and resolve project issues. - Escalate critical issues to management as needed. - Budget Management: - Develop and manage project budgets. - Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget. - Report on project financials. - Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate project teams. - Provide coaching and mentoring to team members. - Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. - GCP Environment Management: - Manage and optimize our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment for Big Data projects. - Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our GCP infrastructure. Requirements: * Drive the end-to-end delivery of complex projects on GCP, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion. * Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices for data pipelines, data warehouses, and APIs. * Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and architects to design and implement scalable and reliable data solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc. * Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment on project goals. * Establish and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and reporting on financial performance. * Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues to management as needed. * Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing coaching and mentoring to team members.
