Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team, focusing on wind resource assessment and structural load analysis. This role is critical for providing technical expertise in the early stages of projects, ensuring wind turbine designs meet life expectancy, and optimizing project layouts for our customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the wind industry, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to lead technical discussions and deliver high-quality reports. You will be a key player in a fast-paced, global environment, driving innovation and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Wind & Site Analysis: Perform advanced wind and site statistical modeling to determine wind resource and site characteristics.
- Value Engineering: Use your siting skills to perform value engineering for after-sales projects.
- Load Calculations: Verify wind turbine design life estimation by performing detailed load calculations.
- Reporting & Review: Prepare comprehensive internal and external reports. Review reports delivered by the team and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Project & Sales Support: Maintain sales and project processes by providing technical and commercial responses to customers, consultants, and colleagues.
- Process Improvement: Proactively submit proposals for tools and process enrichments to keep the company ahead of the curve.
- Team Collaboration: Work with regional teams to ensure early-stage planning is executed effectively.

Qualifications

- A Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Aerospace, or Energy Engineering is highly desired.
- Proven experience with a strong background in wind resource assessment and structural load analysis.
- Experience in data visualization platforms like Power BI.
- Proficiency with industry-specific software such as WAsP, windPRO, or Openwind.
