We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist Skills & Experience - - Good Cloud designing exposure - AWS/GCP Cloud certifications are an added advantage - Good experience in designing enterprise applications. - Agile and team management skills. - Awareness of tools like Confluence, RTC, JIRA, QC, Test Automation etc. - Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. - Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow. - Develop standards for Production Support, Coding, Testing, Debugging, and Implementation. - Support production services on a rotational basis and this can be for multiple regions. - As a Consultant Specialist you will be responsible to implement CCS business changes, mostly configuration on existing solution. - As a Consultant Specialist you may be asked to develop new microservices or enhance existing MS to support different business. - As a Consultant Specialist you will have to maintain artifacts for production issues that you fixed, or you contributed in one or other way. - As a Consultant Specialist you will have to help team in fixing production and non-production issues and record them for future reference. - Participate in all agile ceremonies. - Serve as advisor, Mentor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. - Work with the team on the technical aspects of customer requirements and help team in implementing new solutions. - As a Consultant Specialist learn new technologies as per business need and cascade information to team and junior staff. - As a Consultant Specialist take complete ownership of delivery you are part of. - As a Consultant Specialist participate in code reviews and other quality and automation opportunity in the team. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent. - Total 7 + years hands-on experience with Java - 2+ years experience as an individual contributor or module lead. - Core Spring / Spring Boot, Integration technologies: REST/MQ/XML/SOAP/JSON - Jenkins, Git, SonarQube experience. - Understanding with RESTful API designs - Experience in Database/Stored Procedure/SQL development (any of these DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase etc.) - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver technical messages to a non-technical audience - Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions - Effective communication, collaboration, team, and presentation skills with a proven ability to operate effectively in a fast moving environment are essential. - Ability to guide people to implement the right solution Candidate User Guide - https://hsbchrdirect.service-now.com/hrspid=kb_article&sys_id=6bd437061be61c10e9b1553a2d4bcb07 HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
