Job Description

Job Title: French Teacher Primary & Secondary

School: Kanakia International School CBSE, Chembur

Location: Chembur, Mumbai

Curriculum: CBSE

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate French lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments tailored to different grade levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations, projects, and examinations.
- Conduct language-based activities such as role-plays, conversations, games, and cultural projects.
- Prepare students for internal and board assessments, where applicable.
- Maintain accurate student records and provide regular feedback to parents and school authorities.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support holistic development of students.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in French or equivalent qualification (DELF/DALF certification preferred).
- B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or equivalent school, preferably handling both Primary and Secondary sections.
- Strong communication skills in French and English.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online platforms.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and creative in teaching methodology.
