Immediate Start Network Engineer – Firewall Implementation

We’re Hiring: Network Engineer – Firewall Implementation (Level 2) - Pune (MH) Join our Managed Security Services (MSS) Team and play a key role in implementing, managing, and maintaining client firewalls and switches. This dual-role opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about network security, firewall management, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and support client firewalls and network infrastructure - Monitor, triage, and respond to firewall and VPN-related incidents - Collaborate with Network Engineers and SOC teams for effective resolution - Mentor SOC team members on network and firewall operations - Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and incident use cases - Provide remote support for client firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity issues - Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required You’ll also: - Stay current with technical forums, tools, and best practices - Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes and scalability Experience: - Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in firewall management, networking, and security technologies Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of Fortinet or Cisco firewalls - Experience administering DNS, DHCP, NTP, and other core network services - Proven ability to analyze, triage, and resolve network and firewall-related incidents - Solid troubleshooting experience in technical environments - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Commitment to providing superior customer service Preferred Certifications: (Any of the following or equivalent) - CCENT, CCNA, NSE4+, or PCNSE - Certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ If you’re a proactive network professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and mentoring others, we’d love to connect
